Big Day Out NZ 2014 line up revealed


Auckland’s biggest music festival roars back into life after taking 2013 off! The epic line up has been announced and it’s an awesome mix of new and old from across the genre spectrum. Moving to a new home at Western Springs Stadium sounds like it’s going to make this year’s Big Day Out a landmark event, with new attractions, all new stages and more awesome music. Boo there’s no Lorde on the poster, especially after her epically well-received last-minute performance at Splendour in the Grass but it’s a pretty strong line up as it is and certainly one worthy of this grand return of an old music friend.

Selena released a music video to the song from her album Stars Dance as a gift to her fans to celebrate her 21st birthday. The video is pretty good, but there’s no way they’re sober, as much as they’re trying not to show any alcohol. Catchy, simple, fun pop song, minus that dreadful chorus of Happy Birthday at the end. 1D have released the full trailer to their upcoming movie One Direction: This is Us 3D and as expected it features lots of screaming fans, crying parents and the boys in various stages of undress.

One Direction have been working like crazy over the past year with an 8-month world tour, the upcoming movie as well as heading back to the studio to begin work on new music.

The boys will be in New Zealand to play one concert in Christchurch on October 10 2013 and two concerts in Auckland on October 12 and 13 2013.
