Kanye West has announced his new album Yeezus will drop June 18, 2013, and also this week premiered two new tracks ‘New Slaves’ and ‘Black Skinhead’.
Kanye West is proving he still knows how to make an entrance. After performing the previously unheard track ‘I Am A God’ at the Met Gala earlier this month Ye announced a new son premiere by posting the Tweet below instructing fans to visit one of 66 physical locations around the world to watch and hear the new single ‘New Slaves’. You can watch the projection show at the video at the bottom of this page.
Kanye then took the stage at SNL to perform ‘New Slaves’ and the previously unheard track ‘Black Skinhead’, while girlfriend Kim Kardashian posted a photo to Instagram (below) reportedly confirming Kanye’s upcoming album name as Yeezus and giving us a sneak peek at the album art.
West had previously tweeted saying simply “June Eighteen”, so coupled with Kardashian’s hashtag #June18 it’s safe to assume new material will be announced then. Kanye West has reportedly been working with Odd Future, Skrillez, John Legend and Daft Punk in the studio for the album Yeezus.
